Kenapa Aku Kerja Keras: Sebab Nak Tinggal Kat Sini

Ok bai relek! Sebelum korang mogok asal aku lama tak post blog, aku nak bagitahu korang lagi yang aku baru start kerja baru dan kerja ni adalah syarikat yang jenis turnover gila babi Euros bai. Jenis kalau aku tak sharp, kena buang bai. So maaf ye.

Dan aku baru balik pejabat, dan fikir kat diri sendiri, asal aku kerja macam setan sampai lupa tulis blog? Jawapannya sebab aku nak saving duit nak beli satu unit apartment ni! Memperkenalkan 56 Leonard Street di New York (tempat bekas tunang. ptuih).

Amacam? Nak hustle sampai mampu beli satu unit? Kita kena bercita- cita sharp bai!

the master builder aside, but can we actually dream of anything that is american other american melt down at the moment...

we can't man, we just can't.

after all, the money of the future is credit. everyone in debt. everyone enslaved.

lebbeus woods had said it, "by way of resistance".

design and structure wise are sound. But i think we also ought to reflect the purpose and fucntions of architecture as symbiosm and the functionality of a micro-cosmo called 'city', in which the design and the outcome of this structure as it is now, is made more justifiable. Well I guess in this case should be looked beyond sustainability...

senor marxelo, that's because this building is in new york not chicago so there is no need for modernism saving grace hehe...

imo, what herzog is trying to propose here is to prove that architecture cannot strive beyond the reach of this planet's current physical reality.. and that includes gravity, solar and atmospheric conditions, and time.

just as in the complexity of the human vs rules of nature design is undeniable, so too in the search for generative techniques in architecture.

in the sight of architecture's potential and the proliferation of seducing forms being produced in today's commercialism of new ideas, the architect must not overlook the consideration of its human users.

man's philosophy is often imposed in built structures like the immortality of the pyramid, the grandeur of the palace, the might of the fortress and the divinity of the cathedral but i guess i have to agree with you on what you've said.

this is nothing much. herzog's being pretentiously cheap this time around.

the building does not only represents man's conquest over nature rather than our symbiosm with it, but how desire had made man fallen asleep.

it does speak highly of modern psyche though. that's the only credit, perhaps?
